Museum Without Walls is an AR trail set across the historic Herefordshire town of Ross-On-Wye, immersing visitors into its rich and fascinating history. ARCADE XR has had the privilege of working with a dedicated and passionate local team for several years, building the trail piece by piece and now, with 12 sites brought to life, we are proud to say it is complete.
The experience reveals hidden objects and locations lost to the mists of time, from historic sailing boats reappearing on the River Wye, to long-demolished Tudor houses re-erected in the town centre, to re-enacting the gruesome but necessary burial of 315 townsfolk who died from the plague in 1637, and many more.
