ARCADE is proud to be sponsoring the 2024 Innovate UK Immersive Tech Awards, providing not one but two of the internships on offer to the winners.
After an incredibly successful pilot in 2023, the awards are back, bigger and better, in 2024. Run by Innovate UK Immersive Tech Network, this unique awards program invites UK university students to submit their innovative projects for the opportunity to showcase their work to industry, compete for a number of category and finalists' prizes, and interview for the grand prize internships.
The two ARCADE internships are each with a different partner, one with Storylab Anglia Ruskin University and the other in partnership with the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff. In addition, internships are also on offer with global sustainable developers Arup and immersive e-learning providers Edify.
Applicants face a stiff challenge, however, as impressing the judging panel will be no mean feat. ARCADE CEO Jon Meggitt and Client Services Director Livvy Hinkin will be amongst the judges and can't wait to see what the students come up with.
Bringing talent through into the immersive industries is such an important task. We applaud the incredible work done by the Innovate UK Immersive Tech Network and are delighted to be able to support such an exciting and impactful initiative.
