We are proud to be presenting our approach to immersive technologies and XR at the OECD Global Forum on Technology.
The inaugural event is taking place in Paris ahead of the Meeting of the OECD Council at the Ministerial Level chaired by the United Kingdom.
In addition to ministers from OECD member countries and partner economies, diverse technical and policy experts, business, academia, civil society are discussing long-term opportunities and risks presented by emerging technologies.
This year’s theme Shaping our future at the tech frontier will consider three cross-cutting aspects for the development of responsible and values-based technology:
- How can we foster responsible and rights-oriented technology development and deployment?
- How can emerging technologies foster resilient societies and address climate change?
- How can technology policy better anticipate and bridge digital and technological divides?
Additionally, experts will take a deep dive into two specific technologies: synthetic biology and immersive technologies.
